The practices at Bucksburn and Dyce are open from 8.15am to 6.15pm, Monday to Friday. The doctors consult at varying times between 8.30am and 6.00pm.

On one Wednesday afternoon most months the surgery is closed, to allow for ongoing training of doctors and staff.

Our receptionists will advise you about the necessary procedures to register with the practice. Patients have access to all services while they remain registered with the practice.

We will always fit in urgent illnesses, even if the surgeries are fully booked. Tell the receptionist what the problem is and she will make the necessary arrangements. Some problems need only a short appointment, but many may require more time to deal with adequately, especially if you have more than one matter about which you are consulting. If this is the case, ask the receptionist to give you a longer appointment. We find that by you doing so, it helps us keep waiting times to a minimum. You are free to consult any doctor but we encourage you to attend the same doctor throughout an episode of illness. If you cannot keep your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible so that the time can be made available for another patient.

We do examinations for PCV and HGV licences, insurance, fitness for sport etc - a BMA recommended fee will be charged for these.
