Ross Middleton - Physician Associate

PgDip Physician Associate Studies (2016), BSc Biomedical Science with Anatomy (2014).
Born in Peterhead and moved to Aberdeen in 2018. Ross graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 2014 with a BSc in Biomedical Science with Anatomy before completing his studies at the University of Aberdeen with a Post Graduate Diploma in Physician Associate studies in 2016. Ross worked at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary in General Surgery for 3 years before joining the practice in 2019.
Outside of medicine, Ross’ interests include football, films and he also enjoys going to the gym, running and playing tennis.

Tharushi Dissanayake

Masters in Physician Associate Studies (2020).
Bachelor of Honours with Industrial Experience in Pure & Applied Chemistry (2018)
Born in Sri Lanka, but raised in Aberdeen from age 7, only left for 4 years to do her undergraduate in Glasgow then moved back with her, now husband, in summer 2018. Since graduation she worked in Cornhill as part of the acute team for on call acute adult, eating disorders, rehabilitation wards and elderly care (6 months). Following which she moved jobs as part of her Grampian contract to Geriatric working in ARI and Rosewell (6 months). She joined Gilbert Road Group towards the end of 2021. Through her placement years she gained experience working in Gynaecology & Sexual Health, Haematology, Stroke, General Surgery (Dr Gray's, Elgin), Cardiology, Paediatric, Renal, and Orthopaedics before COVID-19 took them out of the wards. Currently she is undergoing part time studying for a Nutritional and Mental Health course online through Royal College of Psychiatry. Her spare time involves chasing after our two kittens; spin and Pilates classes, running her online art business and travelling with family and friends. 

Lucy Rennie - Pharmacist

Lucy was born in Aberdeen and studied pharmacy at Robert Gordon University, graduating in 2016. After a year of working in various community pharmacies, she joined the practice in March 2018. In her spare time, Lucy enjoys going to the gym, walking her dog Sulley and spending time with her family and friends.
